We are seeking casual Instructors for our Pharmacy Technician program. In this role you will: provide and support a learner-centred teaching environment; develop and maintain connections with program stakeholders, including the securing of practicum placements; and be a role model for other faculty members.

Specific instructor duties include:
  • co-ordinate and instruct labs and courses;
  • facilitate discussions and group activities;
  • assess and monitor student progress;
  • develop curriculum and exams;
  • provide consultative support to our students.

In addition, you will participate in the ongoing review of the Pharmacy Technician program and individual courses in conjunction with other department staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Pharmacist.
  • Previous teaching experience would be an asset.
  • Current Alberta license.

Note: This is a part-time casual position with flexible work hours.
