Job: Alberta Health Services - Calgary Region, Outpatient Pharmacies

Permanent and temporary full time positions are available with the Calgary Region Outpatient Pharmacies.

As a member of the Calgary Health Region Outpatient Pharmacy team, you will provide pharmaceutical care and dispense medications to ambulatory patients seen through the Outpatient Pharmacy. Clinical practice opportunities exist in Infectious Diseases through the Home Parenteral Therapy Program, Anticoagulation through the Anticoagulation Management Service and as a team member of the Southern Alberta Transplant Program. The ambulatory clinics consist of a strong and dynamic interdisciplinary team that strive to provide optimal care to patients through collaboration and teamwork. All Calgary Health Region Pharmacists receive orientation, mentorship and educational support from the Pharmacy Clinical Practice Leaders in Solid Organ Transplant and Anticoagulation. There are regionally supported opportunities for research and mentoring pharmacy students and residents. These are regional positions and there may be a requirement to travel to and work at the various sites within the region.
