CE: TEACH (Training Enhancement in Applied Cessation Counselling and Health

TEACH is coming back to Alberta in early 2009!

Tobacco use has been on the decline for years, but one out of five people still use tobacco. Helping your patients quit is one of the best ways to greatly improve their health. You might even save a life in the process!

The Training Enhancement in Applied Cessation and Health (TEACH) project is designed to ensure that individuals in the public, private and non-profit sectors who provide intensive counseling services to tobacco users obtain knowledge and skills in the delivery of best practice interventions.

Interested health care professionals in Alberta can register to complete the following free courses:

A Comprehensive Course on Smoking Cessation: Essential Skills and Strategies
